The Sibling Slam Book is a collection of questions answered by young adults who have a disabled sibling. I was lucky to be one of the siblings chosen as a contributing author of the book. This is a fantastic resource for anyone curious about what it’s truly like to have a sibling with special needs. I loved sharing my stories about my sister, Monica. Check it out!
Today I volunteered at the Fallen Heroes Golf Tournament in Milford. Here’s a video of Miss Greater Simsbury and I put on an adventure in a golf cart!
Last week, I participated in Habitat for Humanity’s Women Build Week! I had a blast putting the finishing touches on a house for a mother and her two children. Everyone who helped build the house is a volunteer, which speaks volumes about the generosity of people involved in this organization. It is amazing all the work, thought, and planning that goes into making a home. This was my first time working with Habitat for Humanity, and I look forward to being a part of future builds!
Thank you, Rita’s of Rocky Hill, for supporting me in my efforts to fundraiser for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals and the Miss Connecticut Scholarship Fund! My Celebrity Scoop Night was a success…thank you to everyone who stopped by :)
